HOW THE VOTING WENT - UMNO WINS
The resolutions
1) Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek That the members of the general assembly have no confidence in the leadership of Ong
ADOPT: 1155 REJECT: 1141 SPOILT: 8
How stupid of these MCA's 1155 central delegates who virtually voted a capable man, able to check and even balance UMNO out of office! my only remark for MCA - wu-fu-ai-zai..............
How stupid of these MCA's 1155 central delegates who virtually voted a capable man, able to check and even balance UMNO out of office! my only remark for MCA - wu-fu-ai-zai..............
...........looks like up till now, only OTK could faced up to UMNO leaders ( PKFZ and Muar school $ allocations); thats why UMNO had to set up a personality assassination campaign within MCA to get rid of OTK, who became a torn to those corrupted gang up there.
Who's 14 (1155 less 1141) votes that send OTK home?
MCA 3rd Force? maybe but the most notable possibility comes from within MCA, OTK's very own camp to be exact.
Main suspects were non other than the 4 elected Vice Presidents; namely:-
- 1st Vice President: Kong Cho Ha
- all he needed was to lobby for some discontentment votes towards his peers and that's it, up he goes................immediately after EGM, he was seen happily escorting PM Najib at Bagan Pinang by elections campaigning..............isn't he realistic?????????????
- 2nd Vice President: Liow Tiong Lai
- Liow was the only elected VP left after the EGM still by OTK's side when the later called for a short press conference.
- 3rd Vice President: Ng Yen Yen
- According to China Press, Wanita MCA President Dato Dr Ng Yen Yen, advised married women to put up make-up, sprayed on the perfume, and put on sexy transparent nighties in the bedroom. She implied it get very bored for the the husband to see the wife get into and get out from the bed day in and day out. She advised married women indulge in creating some "fresh" excitements to break the monotony of their daily life. read on - Stand by your man HERE
- Dr Ng’s recent statement that nasi lemak, laksa, bak kut teh, chilli crab and Hainanese chicken rice are Malaysian dishes had sparked off a “food fight” on the Internet, including from some unhappy Singaporeans who insisted that chilli crab and the chicken rice were theirs.
Dr Ng said a study on the origins of foods in the country would be conducted and an apology conveyed if it was wrongly claimed.
- Controversial that she is, evasive right from the days running up to EGM and among the first to call for the appointment of new MCA President immediately after the Oct 10th results were known, isn't she in a hurry???????
In view of the decision by Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek to relinquish all his government and party positions, MCA President YB Dato' Seri Ong Ka Ting announced that YB Tan Kok Hong, Assemblyman for Bekok will assume the position of Acting Chairman for MCA Johor State Liaison Committee temporarily pending further decision by MCA Central Committee which will convene on 8 January 2008.
- Coward and evasive, missed EGM on purpose(oversea)? Tries not to offend both OTK and CSL, useless chap that's not worthy a mention in politics where taking sides and taking risk is the name of the game!!!!!!!!!!!
2) That the presidential council’s decision on Aug 26 in accepting the recommendation of the disciplinary board and the subsequent decision of the central committee (if any) to expel or suspend Dr Chua is annulled
ADOPT: 1204 REJECT: 1095 SPOILT: 5
3) That Dr Chua be rightfully restored as MCA deputy president
ADOPT: 1110 REJECT: 1184 SPOILT: 10
Resolution 2 & 3 were not worth even a mentioned, considering the negative impact ( Sex-dvd) it could have done to MCA then, now and future!
The delegates were wise enough to make their presence felt here, at least!
Resolutions 4 & 5 were dropped at the start of the EGM

With Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat’s removal by his own party via the EGM, he and his chosen team in cabinet may no longer be taken to represent MCA, let alone the Chinese community. This is implied by the logic of BN’s system of communal representation.
Now that Ong’s leadership has been rejected, Ong and his fellow MCA members of cabinet should do the honourable thing and offer the Prime Minister their collective resignation.- Tengku Razaleigh
