But with her marriage breakdown to Ashley weighing heavy on her mind, the singer wore a pained expression. It didn't help that she'd just spent nine hours recording a new TV shampoo ad for L'Oreal as she went back to work for the first time since the split. Estranged husband Ashley isn't much happier. He was seen without his diamond-encrusted wedding ring - apparently resigned to the fact that his three-and-a-half year marriage is over for good. The 29-year-old Chelsea star has grown a beard and was in an emotional state yesterday at a French sports clinic, claiming that his life was in ruins. Asked about their separation, he shouted: '**** off! Why doesn't everyone just leave me alone? Just **** off, my life has been ruined.'
